Exploitation & Dissemination

The industrial partners are well-positioned and committed to exploit the results of the STELLA project. It is expected that both the generic technological development as well as the applications and demonstrators trigger further development which should lead to production and commercialization of the individual building blocks developed for STELLA as well as complete autonomous nodes and systems based thereupon.

In addition, some of the research organizations will exploit the knowledge gained in this project via technology transfer to existing and new (spin-off) companies. In particular, both IMEC and CEA have successfully created spin-offs companies for the past 20 years, with the help of a dedicated office and numerous links to regional set-ups.

A dedicated dissemination plan will ensure the use of the project results. On one hand, it concerns the obvious activities such as the set-up of a STELLA website, the organisation of workshops and training sessions, the publication of specific results on each company specific website and newsletters or availability of technology licenses will serve as a seed for the uptake of the technology by external entities, in particular SMEs. Scientific papers related to the results achieved during this project will be submitted to Journals and selected International Conferences. The dissemination will concern both the technology and the applications.
